Children's Museum

We went to the Children's Museum with Katie today and Connor had SO much fun! When I asked him on the way home what his favorite part was he said driving the bus and pushing the buttons. Here are the big kids driving the bus (there are buttons to push inside the bus).

He loves the trains! Which is obvious from the blurry arms that are flailing about in excitement...

There is a Barbie exhibit and it has a "fashion show" - dress up clothes for the kids to put on backstage and then a runway with loud music for the kids to walk on. Connor started dancing (jumping and spinning) at the end of the runway for the longest time - only breaking for goldfish (see below). I have a video of it, but blogger won't let me post it, so just use your imagination and you can see him jumping and spinning around, getting dizzy and almost falling a couple times, and then running back to me for some goldfish. So funny!

We had to take a break from dancing to eat some goldfish.

Valentines Day

For Valentine's Day we went to Katie's house to eat pink pancakes and paint Valentines pictures. It was so fun! Connor LOVED the pink pancakes and had about 6 of them (they were small, don't worry). I text Mark with a picture of him eating and said, "He loves pancakes" and Mark said, "He loves sugar!" lol!

This is him painting - Katie is so creative (a.k.a. addicted to pinterest lol) that she used a toilet paper roll and bent it into a heart shape, taped it together, and then they dipped it in paint and made heart shapes! He didn't really get the heart thing, but painting is just about his favorite thing, so he had a blast!

Kate was napping through the activities, so I failed to get a picture of her in her ADORABLE valentines outfit, but here is one from a different day.

Laundry Day

He says the white basket is mommy's basket and the black basket is Connor's basket. This is Connor watching his new favorite show - Little Einsteins. They do this thing where they pat their legs and clap their hands. It is pretty cute.

Christmas

Like every year we had several Christmas celebrations (8 to be exact...) We did a little bit of traveling and both the kids did great. We were blessed to arrive everywhere safely. Everybody was excited to meet Kate and Connor was loving all the attention he could get! This first picture isn't from Christmas, but Kate is so cute! She is just starting to smile and it is so sweet! Playing with lincoln logs he got from Grandpa and Gammy - and sharing with Kate!

We have obviously been busy with our little girl and big boy, so here is what has been happening the last couple weeks.

Connor loves to share his cars with Kate... such a sweet big brother! LOVES cars!

More sharing :) he has actually named this Kate's car. Everytime he plays with them, he says this is Kate's car. (Mommy, Daddy and Connor have their own cars, too. And one is called Green Speed, and it sounds like green pee when Connor says it - it is hilarious!)

Kate's first week

Two thanksgiving turkeys! Connor LOVES Kate. He likes to feed her, burp her, hold her, rub her face, and he is so good at sharing his trucks with her! We were leaving for church this morning and she was crying in her car seat and he said, "Baby Kate cry. Baby need truck." Then he went to the living room, got a truck and set it on top of her in the car seat. I almost started crying it was so sweet.

The ride home from the hospital started out a bit rough.....

but it got better :)
