yes, we are still here...

I have caught quite a bit of grief from The Grandmas of our families for not posting, so here we are!

July 4th - Didn't get a good pic, but here is one where neither of them is crying haha
This is a video of Connor making Kate laugh - so sweet.
This is when Kate first started sitting - she is a pro now!
We went to the Children's Museum last week.
I love Kate's face in this pic

He could have played in this water the whole day!

When Kate first said dada - adorable!

More updates - Kate is officially eating baby food now, and she LOVES puffs - that girl can shovel them in!
Connor is potty training. We have tried a couple of times (unsuccessfully) but I think it is going to stick this time. It has been about 3 weeks and the only time he wears a diaper is for nap and bedtime. He won't tell you that he has to go, but if you make him go, he will hold it till then.... (except during church yesterday... they just asked him if he had to go, he said no, and came home wet haha. oh well... such is life).. He is doing Really well!
And finally, today is our 7 year anniversary! I can't believe I have been married to the love of my life for 7 years and we have two beautiful children! We are so blessed by God!

Gulf Shores 2012

We had our family vacation a couple weeks ago. We went to Gulf Shores with Gammy, Grandpa, Aunt Mallory and Aunt Moe Moe. We were sad that Chad couldn't make it this year! Here are a few pictures from our week. I have more to get from other people that took them, and will post them later.

Connor on the first day. Apparently all he wanted to do was eat his crackers in the shade, but we didn't have an umbrella yet, so he improvised.

There was a hose to clean your feet off before coming up to the house, and Connor loved to play with it! He would splash himself, you, the sand, anything he could!
 My boys

If she's just not the cutest thing ever...

This is what Connor was doing while we had Kate in the water... eating crackers in the shade. He's nothing if not consistent.
He did NOT like the water. He liked for Daddy and Grandpa to get water in the bucket for him to put his feet in and splash, but getting in the ocean was out of the question.... until Mean Mommy put an end to it. So, he ate crackers in the ocean and cried for 20 minutes. The neighbors probably gave me Mommy of the Year, but by golly, that kid was going to like it whether he wanted to or not!! (and he did not want to...) However, eventually he stopped crying and let Mark just hold onto his hand.
Good boy!
