Connor's first day of pre-kindergarten!

CONNOR'S FIRST DAY OF PRE-KINDERGARTEN!!! 

I told him we were going to take some pictures and he said, "I'm putting on my shoes. Why don't you take a picture of that?" 

So here is my big boy putting on his shoes all by himself. 

 He opened his lunch box and just stared at it the whole way to school. He was most excited to each lunch today.

 I got there 5 minutes early and was the last parent in line. I felt like such a loser. Oh well. Here is the point I teared up. Thought I'd remember it with a pic.

 This is the cookie I made him while he was at school. He wanted to eat the whole "C" when he got home. We settled on just half of it, which was still a huge piece of cookie. Whatever. It's his first day.

I had already asked him questions for 5 minutes non-stop with the video camera. So when I broke out the regular camera and started asking questions he was kind of over it. But here is just a peak at his day. Also, the potty comment surprised me.. he hadn't mentioned that yet haha.

State fair, the day before Connor's first day of school

The state fair has been going on, so Mark James took the day off on his birthday and we went! The kids did amazing!

 Connor's favorite part were the rides.

 Duck Races. Their duck lost and Kate cried.

 This was his favorite ride... because he got to fly like Spiderman (who is his favorite all of a sudden - Spiderman lunch box, Spiderman birthday party... loves it!)

 The day before Connor started pre-kindergarten I took him to Monkey Joes. He loves that place.

 Apparently so does this little fella.

swim lessons for Connor

Connor took swim lessons in June - yes, we are a little behind - and he was so cute. It was twice a week for the month. It has made him so much more comfortable in the pool and lake! He jumps in now and goes under water and it is so cute! Yesterday he actually jumped in the deep end and after he popped up Mark gave him a little shove towards the ladder, and he would paddle his little self over there. So cute. So big.
