December

The MOPS family Christmas party - decorating cookies.
Kate is soooo excited to see Santa.. I had to hold her back and make her wait on the couch. Connor, on the other hand, was running away as fast and far as he could. Not too excited... more terrified than anything. He did manage to ask Santa for an airplane for the movie Planes, so that was progress.

Kate could not WAIT to go play in the snow. She was getting dressed a good half hour before we (and by we I mean Katie took them outside while I stayed inside and made lunch) went outside.

She put on her own hat, and when she couldn't find her gloves she got the oven mitts off the counter top.

She lasted five minutes, cried the whole time, then came inside. Now, anytime we get out of the car, if she has to stand in the snow she cries. Apparently she is not a fan of snow.

Daddy took Connor outside to build a snowman. They could have stayed out their and played all day.

 Adorable.
So I just realized there aren't any pictures of Mason. haha - well, he just recently started smiling, so before that, there isn't much to photograph. Will get some over Christmas! I do have a video of him from about a month ago from when he first started laughing and smiling - I just missed the laughing, but he is still adorable.
Kate LOVES her singing Minnie Mouse!

Kate's Second Birthday Party!

Kate Renee LOVES Minnie Mouse! So, of course, we did a Minnie Mouse birthday party. And, if you know me at all, you know I have a crafting issue that could probably use an intervention... however, that has yet to happen, so here are the pictures...
Here are all the kid's favors - they all got their own individual cup with something on it that they are interested in, a lid and straw to go with it, a mickey or minnie ring pop, a pink or red necklace, and Minnie stickers. The girls also got a Minnie Mouse bow that I made and the boys got a Mickey Mouse airplane.
Oh, and they also got ears - the girl's had a bow and the boy's did not. However, not a single child wore the ears for more than 2 minutes... Awesome use of my time making them for everyone lol

I thought these cupcakes were so cute!

 Goofy's Gulp Station

She LOVED her cape! There is a video at the end of her running around with it - which she did for 10 minutes - pausing for applause after each lap.

She is wondering why we won't let the birthday girl eat her cupcake...

I am so mad that I can't figure out how to turn this picture right side up, because it is perfect... so just turn your head to the right so you can see! He is wearing the mickey mouse hat that Katie made him for the party - it is perfect!
Connor also had a shirt just like Mason and Kate's (with his name on it, obviously).. apparently I can't ever remember to get a family picture, or even one of all three kids at once... oh well...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATE RENEE!! WE LOVE YOU!!

Our October

Apparently I can't update the blog but once a month, so here we go with the month of October.

We visited the fire station as a MOPS playdate.

Abby's puppy birthday party. Each of the kids got a puppy with a birth certificate (Connor named his puppy Mason), a mat and a ball. They took them to different stations - the vet station, the food station, the grooming station... their might have been more, not sure.. but it was adorable and the kids still play with their puppies! They love them!

Connor was very serious about checking his puppy's heartbeat.
The puppies got puppy chow to eat (a.k.a. chocolate cereal) - Connor ate a LOT once he realized it wasn't real dog food.
They also got vitamins at the vet station (a.k.a. gummy bears) - all the kids had a lot of vitamins, too!
I think I said in the last post that it was our last visit to the orchard, but Laura came in town, so we went one more last time! Kate loves the swing!!
 Connor and Aubrey
Carving the pumpkin - Connor wouldn't even touch a seed and I had to tell Kate several times not to eat them...
 Love this picture.

I can't figure out how to put this picture right side up, but here is Mason happy as could be while we were carving pumpkins!

Painting the pumpkins we got from the pumpkin patch play date with MOPS

 Playing with shaving cream.
On Halloween he wanted pancakes, so I made pumpkin pancakes with chocolate chip smiley faces. He wanted a candle in his pancake - like it was his birthday. Made me laugh.

Oh my gosh he is so big!!
Connor was Handy Manny, Kate was Minnie (keep a look out for this outfit again at her birthday party!), and Mason was a pumpkin.

Here they all are at their first house! Abby and Josh were dinosaurs and Sarah was Hello Kitty.
Baby pumpkin passed out a few houses in.

This video cracks me up - Kate acting like Mason when he is crying. Sometimes she does it, and if I am not looking, I can't tell who it is - her or Mason!
